![]() Instead, what happens is that the game will stretch to the entire widescreen resolution, horribly warping the image, and making it quite unfun to run around a very short and fat Mario. This is totally acceptable to me, but I can't get it to work this way. Now, in theory, I should just have to select MAX for the view size, and the image should stretch to meet the VERTICAL limit of the screen, but due to the TV ratio limit, have borders on the left and right side. In other words, it does not seem to sense that the screen's height is in fact 1050 pixels. Once a rom is loaded, the aspect ratio is correct, but the game is displayed with black gaps between the top and bottom of the screen. Let me explain: First, I set the video resolution to 1680x1050, configure everything else properly (and I have another non-widescreen LCD and have no problems otherwise so I know how to properly set the rest of the video stuff up), then go to the view tab and make sure to check the TV Aspect Ratio feature before I load a rom. ![]() Kissing up aside, I have been having issues getting a proper TV aspect ratio to display on my widescreen LCD. First off, this is without a doubt the best NES emulator I have ever used, and has as robust and stable a feature set as I would ever want or need. ![]()
